Shift In-charge (SIC) / Operator

Role Overview

The Shift In-charge / Operator will oversee sterilization processes and manage shift activities to ensure efficient facility functioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify product details prior to sterilization processing.
• Accurately label products and attach necessary indicators.
• Properly position dosimeters according to established protocols.
• Execute Gamma, Steam, and EtO sterilization following defined procedures.
• Continuously monitor sterilization parameters and identify any deviations.
• Oversee safe loading and unloading of products within the shift.
• Keep detailed records of processing activities, shifts, and equipment maintenance.
• Carry out line clearance actions after each product batch completion.
• Ensure processed products are stored correctly in designated areas.
• Maintain steady and efficient operation of the sterilization unit.
• Adhere to and enforce safety standards, cleaning routines, and pest control measures.
• Promptly report equipment breakdowns, process deviations, and safety concerns to the Facility In-charge.
