Role Overview

The full-time Service Technician position, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, entails installing, maintaining, and repairing packaging machinery to guarantee optimal operation and minimal downtime. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing technical faults, conducting scheduled preventive maintenance, and performing extensive troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and control systems. This role requires on-site visits to client locations to provide field service, equipment commissioning, and detailed documentation of maintenance activities in accordance with company standards. The Service Technician will also engage directly with customers to clarify performed work, offer operational support, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely procurement of parts and materials.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven expertise in maintaining and repairing industrial or packaging machinery.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities concerning mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Hands-on experience with field servicing, including on-site visits and machinery commissioning.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to build and maintain client trust.
• Technical diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics engineering, or related disciplines.
• Experience with automated packaging equipment or comparable industrial machines is a strong advantage.
• Capacity to interpret technical blueprints, manuals, and utilize diagnostic and testing instruments effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to safety and detail in industrial environments.
• Preparedness to travel locally within Riyadh and surrounding regions for customer site appointments.
• Fluency in English mandatory; Arabic language skills are considered beneficial.
