About Insight Underground Utility Detection

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and mark underground utilities throughout Melbourne and nearby areas
- Analyze Dial Before You Dig (DBYD) plans and other site documents
- Operate Electromagnetic Field (EMF) and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) equipment effectively
- Maintain precise and comprehensive field records
- Adhere strictly to Australian Standard AS5488 for service classification
- Interface professionally with clients, supervisors, and project teams
- Prepare detailed site reports and documentation
- Maintain equipment and vehicles responsibly while ensuring site safety
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience working independently as a Service Locator in the underground utilities industry
- Comfortable traveling throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria as required
- CertLoc accreditation or equivalent certification
- Hands-on experience with EMF and GPR technologies
- Solid knowledge of AS5488 standards
- Competency in interpreting technical plans and drawings
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication abilities for client engagement
- Current White Card and any relevant safety tickets
- Commitment to safety protocols and quality workmanship
