Service Leader

About the Role

Join Chipotle Mexican Grill in Mississauga, Ontario, as a Service Leader, responsible for fostering a positive customer environment by ensuring the preparation and serving of safe, high-quality food, alongside providing excellent customer service. This role requires actively engaging with team members and maintaining an organized and well-functioning work area.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to all Chipotle policies and procedures.
• Ensure the consistent delivery of great tasting, high-quality food.
• Address and resolve any food quality concerns promptly.
• Support food safety by monitoring hand washing, glove changes, line temperature and timing, secondary shelf lives, and compliance with the Daily Food Safety Checklist as well as related protocols.
• Handle customer incidents to secure positive experiences.
• Oversee crew breaks, shift changes, meetings, and line scheduling.
• Develop and cross-train front of house crew members.
• Assist with performance reviews and help groom future Service Leaders.
• Manage office administration tasks including banking, cash handling, and paperwork.
• Maintain office equipment and ensure timely ordering of supplies.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels for supplies.

Requirements

• Ability to comprehend and explain Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy effectively.
• Experience and knowledge in cash handling policies and procedures.
• Understanding of food safety standards and local health regulations.
• Familiarity with handling office paperwork.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the primary language(s) used at the work site.
• High school diploma completion.
• Prior experience in restaurant operations.
• Availability of at least four days weekly, including a minimum of two days from Friday to Sunday, with the ability to work any eight-hour shift during those days.
• Capability to work a minimum of 32 hours per week.
