Service Leader

About the Role

Join Chipotle Mexican Grill in Kingston, Ontario, as a Service Leader where you will play a key role in shaping a superior fast-food experience. This role requires active presence on your feet during your shifts, ensuring that the restaurant operates smoothly, efficiently, and with excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle’s established policies and procedures meticulously.
• Ensure that food served is consistently delicious and of top quality.
• Monitor and resolve any food quality concerns promptly.
• Uphold food safety standards including proper hygiene practices, temperature control, and adherence to shelf life limits, completing daily food safety checklists.
• Address customer issues to maintain positive guest experiences.
• Manage crew scheduling including breaks, shift changes and meetings.
• Provide training and cross-training to front-of-house staff.
• Conduct crew performance evaluations and support leadership development.
• Handle administrative office tasks like banking, cash handling, paperwork, and supply ordering.
• Ensure all office equipment is functioning and supplies are adequately stocked.

Requirements

• Understand and communicate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Be knowledgeable in cash handling policies and procedures.
• Have familiarity with food safety guidelines and health regulations.
• Comfortable managing routine office paperwork.
• Effective communication skills in the primary language(s) of the worksite.
• High school diploma required.
• Prior experience working in a restaurant environment.
• Must offer open availability for at least four days a week, including two days on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, with readiness for eight-hour shifts.
• A minimum commitment of 32 work hours weekly.
