Service Engineer

About the Role

Excel Copier Systems is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to handle installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of office and electronic equipment at customers' locations across Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, service, maintain, and repair printers and photocopiers.
• Troubleshoot and service CCTV systems, UPS devices, and projectors.
• Diagnose technical problems efficiently and provide on-site solutions.
• Respond promptly to service calls and complete tasks within designated time frames.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Keep detailed records of service reports, parts inventory, and customer interactions.
• Deliver technical assistance and foster positive relationships with clients.
• Travel across Chennai to service customer equipment as required.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering is essential.
• Prior experience servicing printers, photocopiers, CCTV systems, UPS, and projectors is preferable.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in technical contexts.
• Ownership of a two-wheeler with a valid driving license is mandatory.
• Willingness and ability to travel to different customer sites.
• Effective communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly salary ranging from ₹30,000 to ₹35,000, commensurate with experience and skill level.
• Petrol reimbursement or travel allowance in accordance with company policy.
• Exposure to diverse office and electronic equipment for hands-on experience.
