Primary Responsibilities

  • Execute commissioning, routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on diesel engines, generators, turbochargers, and associated machinery following approved procedures and work cards.
  • Conduct Last Minute Risk Analysis (LMRA) prior to starting tasks, ensuring full adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols, including the correct use of personal protective equipment and precise incident documentation.
  • Organize and prepare for service operations by determining necessary spare parts, tools, technical documents, and assembly instructions relevant for upcoming assignments.
  • Lead onsite technical activities, serving as the primary technical resource—supporting technicians, troubleshooting issues, facilitating performance tests, and performing root cause analysis.
  • Assist MAN Energy Solutions and external customers with assembly, disassembly, and overhaul tasks in compliance with company standards.
  • Collect technical data, compose detailed service reports, analyze maintenance records, and recommend improvements utilizing standard software tools such as Microsoft Office.
  • Maintain accurate timesheets and uphold continuous communication, training participation, and compliance with maintenance and HSE policies established by MAN.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • Have at least four years of relevant experience, ideally within heavy equipment sectors, the marine domain, or power plant environments.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical documents, detailed instructions, explanatory sketches, and cross-sectional diagrams.
  • Well-versed in HSE, environmental, quality control, and safety standards.
  • Prepared and willing to travel internationally as required by job assignments.
  • Capable of drafting technical reports using Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Skills
