Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main contact point for customers, building and preserving lasting relationships while managing inquiries and requirements.
- Plan, organize, and oversee service jobs by ensuring appropriate allocation of personnel, spare parts, and logistics at job sites.
- Maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring contractual obligations and quality standards are met, while diligently handling health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Oversee the complete service order cycle from creating quotations through invoicing and cash collection in a timely manner.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting and documentation, including registering all relevant data systematically.
- Collaborate with other company units and teams to synchronize service activities and augment service sales opportunities.
Training Requirement
Candidates lacking prior field engineering experience must complete a structured on-site training program lasting approximately six months.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma in marine or mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience coordinating activities with direct customer interaction, preferably in service or maintenance roles.
- Minimum of two years' experience within the marine sector, ideally as a service engineer.
- Strong skills in planning, prioritizing, and managing service schedules to ensure prompt maintenance and repairs.
- Excellent communication abilities to liaise efficiently between clients, service teams, and vendors.
- Customer-centric attitude with aptitude for resolving conflicts and clarifying client needs to ensure satisfaction.
- Flexibility to address service issues beyond normal working hours as needed.
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is advantageous.
- Established leadership qualities coupled with a cooperative and solution-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is mandatory.
