Service Associate

Role Overview and Key Duties

The Service Associate position involves delivering excellent customer assistance within the cinema environment, handling ticket sales, concessions, ushering, and support tasks to ensure an enjoyable experience for all visitors.

Customer Service Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and courteously upon arrival.
• Support patrons with ticket purchases and provide detailed information about show schedules and seating options.
• Address customer questions and concerns efficiently and with professionalism.
• Offer assistance to guests with disabilities or special requirements.

Ticketing and Financial Handling

• Operate the box office system to sell and print tickets accurately.
• Manage various payment methods including cash and credit with precision.
• Reconcile the cash register at the start and end of shifts to ensure accuracy.

Concessions Management

• Prepare and serve food and drink items such as popcorn, candy, and beverages.
• Promote and upsell available combos and special items to enhance customer purchases.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the concession area.
• Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene guidelines at all times.

Ushering Duties

• Verify and collect tickets at theater entrances.
• Guide patrons to their seats and keep auditoriums tidy and orderly.
• Oversee the theater environment during showings to ensure comfort and security.
• Help manage crowd flow during busy periods and events effectively.

Maintenance and Teamwork

• Promptly report any safety or maintenance issues to management.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to achieve seamless operational flow.
• Engage in meetings and training initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Support special events and promotional activities whenever required.

Educational Requirement

Applicants must have completed either their 12th grade education or hold a graduation degree.

Compensation Details

The monthly remuneration for this role ranges from INR 16,000 to 18,000.
