Service Advisor

Job Summary

P.S Jivraj Automobiles LLP (PSJ TVS) is actively recruiting for a Service Advisor role within their Service Department located in Asansol, West Bengal. The position requires an individual skilled in managing customer interactions, understanding vehicle issues, and preparing service documentation effectively.

Core Duties

• Greet and professionally assist customers visiting for two-wheeler servicing.
• Accurately document customer complaints related to their vehicles.
• Create detailed job cards including customer information, vehicle specifics, and service needs.
• Carry out vehicle inspections and liaison with technicians to diagnose problems.
• Formulate service cost estimates covering labor and parts.

Required Competencies

• Effective communication skills and experience in customer service.
• Fundamental technical understanding of two-wheeler components such as engines, brakes, batteries, tires, and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with routine vehicle servicing and scheduled maintenance protocols.
• Ability to prepare comprehensive job cards and cost estimates.
• Basic computer literacy, including knowledge of MS Excel or service management software.

Education and Experience

• Minimum educational qualification: completion of 12th grade.
• Diploma or ITI in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Experience of 1 to 2 years as a Service Advisor in two-wheeler dealerships or automobile service centers is favored.
• Fresh candidates with strong communication skills and fundamental automobile knowledge will also be considered.
