Role Summary

The Service Advisor position is a full-time role based onsite in Naas, Co. Kildare. The individual in this role serves as the primary liaison for customers bringing vehicles in for servicing and repairs, ensuring each interaction is professional and welcoming. Key duties include arranging service appointments, vehicle check-ins, generating job cards, coordinating with technicians to provide accurate vehicle status updates and timelines, communicating necessary work and completed services, preparing cost estimates and invoices, and helping customers understand service options to aid in decision-making. The advisor will also address aftersales inquiries, follow up to guarantee customer satisfaction, and support the smooth functioning of the service department.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills focused on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer-centric service standards.
  • Effective communication skills in person, by phone, and via email.
  • Experience or keen interest in aftersales roles within the automotive field.
  • Prior involvement as a service advisor or in customer-facing automotive roles is favorable.
  • Basic understanding of vehicle servicing and mechanical terms is an advantage.
  • Organizational capabilities with good time management and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using dealership management software alongside general office applications.
  • Ability to collaborate well within teams and maintain professionalism under pressure.
