Job description
Role Overview
GroupFractal seeks a strategic and inventive SEO Lead to drive measurable organic growth by implementing effective SEO methodologies. This fully remote role based in Canada requires collaboration with a dynamic team while independently spearheading initiatives to enhance search rankings, organic traffic quality, conversions, and other critical performance metrics. The SEO Lead will play a pivotal role in evolving SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies within a fast-evolving search landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute cutting-edge SEO strategies targeting improved organic search metrics.
- Lead initiatives in AEO and GEO to align with emerging search technologies.
- Apply data-driven approaches to elevate performance indicators reliably.
- Collaborate with remote team members to innovate and refine SEO processes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years’ SEO experience within a Canadian or U.S. agency environment or as an SEO Lead on a specialized SEO team.
- Comprehensive expertise in technical SEO, on-page optimization, content strategy, and SEO analytics.
- Hands-on experience with Answer Engine Optimization and Generative Engine Optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to enhance SEO research, workflows, analysis, and content development.
- Demonstrable success in boosting organic KPIs using data-informed strategies.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management capabilities.
- Capacity to work independently with strong discipline and collaborate effectively within a remote team setting.
