Senior Warehouse Manager – 3PL

Overview

We seek a seasoned and goal-oriented Senior Warehouse Manager to oversee comprehensive warehouse operations spanning multiple sites across North India. The role demands deep expertise in third-party logistics (3PL) and sectors such as FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Cold Chain, or similar domains. The ideal candidate will proficiently manage large teams, inventory control, client partnerships, and operational excellence while optimizing costs.

Experience & Education

• Minimum 10 years of substantial experience in 3PL, warehouse, or logistics operations.
• Demonstrated capability in managing several warehouse locations across North India.
• Strong background in managing extensive warehouse operations in sectors like 3PL, FMCG, Pharma, or Cold Chain.
• Educational qualifications preferably include Graduate, MBA, or PGDM in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Business Management, or related disciplines.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end warehouse functions including inbound receiving, storage, inventory management, picking, packing, dispatch, and reverse logistics ensuring smooth operations at multiple North Indian warehouses.
• Maintain uniform operational standards across all warehouse sites and ensure maximum efficiency in manpower, space, and equipment utilization.
• Manage key 3PL clients, maintain strong operational relationships, conduct performance reviews, and uphold SLAs and KPIs.
• Lead warehouse teams including managers, supervisors, and contract laborers by planning manpower needs and enhancing productivity and accountability.
• Guarantee high inventory accuracy, monitor cycle counts, and control shrinkage, damages, and mis-picks with emphasis on specialized product handling.
• Analyze and report key performance indicators regularly to identify trends and improvement areas while presenting action plans to senior management.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and improve warehouse throughput without compromising quality or service levels.
• Develop and refine standard operating procedures, integrate automation and technology solutions, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, statutory guidelines, and client requirements including audit readiness.
• Collaborate closely with other departments such as Transport, HR, Finance, Sales, Procurement, and IT for seamless operational integration and business growth.

• Thorough knowledge of warehouse management processes, inventory control, SLAs, KPIs, and cost management.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP solutions, advanced MS Excel, and MIS reporting tools.
• Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to handle pressure and manage diverse priorities effectively.
• Experience leveraging AI tools for operational analysis, reporting, documentation, communication, and productivity improvements.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI platforms such as ChatGPT and Claude considered a distinct advantage.
