Job description

About Hams.AI

Hams.AI is an innovative artificial intelligence firm that develops enterprise automation platforms tailored for major organizations throughout Saudi Arabia and surrounding regions. Their clientele span multiple sectors including government, healthcare, insurance, telecommunications, and financial services, focusing on industries where enhancing customer experience, optimizing operational efficiency, bolstering reliability, and maintaining control are paramount. Their powerful Unified Communication and Agentic Platforms empower enterprises to automate interactions, workflows, service operations, and decisions data-driven across diverse channels and systems. These solutions cater to live operational environments demanding accuracy, agility, integrability, security focus, and measurable business results at scale.

Role Overview

The Senior UI/UX Designer will be instrumental in shaping how internal teams and enterprise customers comprehend, navigate, and govern complex AI-based automation tools such as conversation flow builders, agent configuration interfaces, live monitoring dashboards, and analytical tools. This position requires ownership of design for intricate, workflow-focused products emphasizing clarity, trust, and control above aesthetics. The designer will transform complex operational rules, branching dialogues, escalation protocols, agent handoffs, and live call journeys into user-friendly interfaces suitable for non-technical enterprise users. Collaboration with product teams, frontend engineers, and clients is essential to ensure design feasibility and real-world application beyond prototypes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end UX design for main product interfaces including flow and canvas builders, agent setup modules, real-time monitoring dashboards, and analytics views.
  • Convert complex business operations and workflows like branching logic, escalation/fallback mechanisms, and integrations into simple, intuitive interaction models.
  • Design, uphold, and advance a scalable design system and component library working hand-in-hand with frontend engineers for practical implementation.
  • Conduct and analyze user research with internal stakeholders and enterprise customers to validate designs pre- and post-launch.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and polished UIs for both web dashboards and canvas-based visualization tools.
  • Partner with product managers to define feature scopes and collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate design delivery.
  • Simplify data-rich, complex screens (e.g., call logs, journey timelines, agent metrics) while preserving detailed information for power users.
  • Establish and maintain high standards for UX quality focusing on consistency, accessibility, edge cases, and appropriate handling of errors or empty states.
  • Effectively communicate design rationale and compromises to diverse stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences, and clients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in product design, UI/UX roles, especially within SaaS, enterprise solutions, dashboards, or complex workflow tools.
  • Robust portfolio demonstrating complete design processes from research and problem framing through to wireframes, high-fidelity interfaces, and successful deployments.
  • Demonstrated capability designing data-intensive, complex workflow and canvas-based interfaces such as flow builders, administrative panels, and analytics dashboards.
  • Expertise in Figma or equivalent design tools, specifically with component systems, auto-layouts, and using design tokens.
  • Solid understanding of frontend development constraints (React architecture, state management, responsive design) to create feasible designs.
  • Experience in conducting or interpreting user research and usability testing, effectively applying insights to design decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of information architecture, interaction principles, and accessibility compliance standards.
  • Adept in converting ambiguous, technical, or intricate operational challenges into meaningful, accessible user interfaces.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with ability to justify design choices based on rationale rather than preference.
  • Possess a bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Why Work Here?

At Hams.AI, you will craft the user interfaces that enable extensive AI-driven automation for large enterprises in the region. This role offers engagement with complex UX challenges and real influence over how thousands of users interact with AI systems in live environments daily, transcending typical marketing material assignments.
