Senior UX/UI Designer

About the Role

Process Creative, a leading Sydney-based digital agency and Shopify Premier Partner, is seeking an accomplished Senior UX/UI Designer dedicated to crafting exceptional ecommerce experiences for ambitious brands. This is a hands-on design role requiring a keen eye for detail, comprehensive knowledge of UX and UI principles, and the capability to manage projects from initial conception through to polished final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive ecommerce experiences covering both UX and UI aspects
• Develop wireframes, visual concepts, interactive prototypes, and complete design systems
• Own projects from briefs through delivery and quality assurance phases
• Translate client objectives and user needs into impactful, user-centered design solutions
• Present design ideas confidently, articulating decision rationale to clients and internal teams
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs
• Liaise with Client Success teams to manage project scope, schedules, and expectation setting
• Participate in project discovery, workshops, and offer strategic design recommendations
• Support design critiques and provide meaningful feedback to fellow designers
• Maintain cohesive design consistency across responsive breakpoints and various digital platforms
• Enhance internal design processes, documentation, and uphold quality standards
• Stay updated on new design trends, tools, technologies, and user behavior insights

Candidate Profile

• Extensive expertise in digital, UX, and UI design disciplines
• Exceptional skills in typography, layout, interaction design, and visual hierarchy
• Proficient with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite at an advanced level
• Experience in creating responsive websites and digital products
• Sound understanding of accessibility standards and UX best practices
• Confident in communicating and justifying design choices
• High attention to detail with commitment to superior quality execution
• Proven ability to collaborate with engineers, client success managers, and clients
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities within an agency setting
• Proactive and team-oriented problem solver
• Previous experience designing ecommerce or Shopify platforms within a digital agency is highly preferred
