Job Role

We seek a Senior UX Researcher who combines analytical rigor with empathy and boldness, devoted to extracting valuable user insights through both methodical analysis and hands-on field research. This pivotal role ensures that decision-making at HungerStation is founded on deep user comprehension rather than assumptions.

Responsibilities

• Own comprehensive research projects from goal-setting and method selection to data gathering, analysis, and insight communication.
• Undertake both in-person and remote research with real users across Saudi Arabia and the MENA region via intercept interviews, contextual inquiries, and usability testing in diverse environments.
• Interpret qualitative and quantitative data to discern usage patterns and behavior trends.
• Utilize a blend of research techniques like interviews, diary studies, surveys, analytics exploration, and evaluation of A/B tests.
• Produce detailed documentation including structured reports, visual frameworks, and presentations that inform design and product choices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and data analysts to ensure actionable, prompt research insights.
• Advocate strongly for user perspectives by presenting clear, confident insights to stakeholders, turning empathy into impact.
• Create scalable research frameworks enhancing consistency, speed, and rigor in research processes.

• Executing usability sessions in Riyadh’s popular malls to evaluate onboarding processes for new users.
• Shadowing delivery riders and performing diary studies to identify challenges in post-order experiences.
• Analyzing survey responses and app analytics to uncover causes of customer churn and improve retention.
• Leading workshops with product and design teams to test and validate concepts prior to development.
• Conducting validation studies for new features in Food, Quick Commerce or FinTech domains.
• Developing comprehensive user segment reports to guide product and domain strategy.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Arabic (mandatory) and English (fluent).
• Over 5 years of professional experience in UX Research or Human-Centered Design within dynamic, product-centric tech companies.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, or related disciplines.
• Expert competency in qualitative and quantitative research methods including usability testing, ethnographic research, concept validation, and heuristic evaluations.
• Strong analytical aptitude and documentation capability to translate complex data into clear, structured, and visually engaging reports with actionable suggestions.
• Exceptional communication and presentation talents, able to influence teams across product and technology sectors.
• Confidence and skill in conducting fieldwork, engaging users in public spaces, meeting vendors, and facilitating in-person sessions.
• Experienced with research and analytics software such as Maze, Qualtrics, Dovetail, Typeform, Looker, Excel, and Google Data Studio.
• Familiar with design platforms like Sketch, Figma, and Adobe XD.
• Firm understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within team environments.
• Strong interpersonal and adaptability skills for managing shifting priorities and time efficiently.
