Senior UX Designer

About the Role

Our teams develop robust web applications and data platforms to enable users to enhance analytical capability and operational efficiency through intelligent decision-making support. We create diverse systems ranging from interactive visualization tools including charts, relational and geospatial interfaces, to comprehensive data platforms and advanced search engines. Key Responsibilities

• Tackle complex interaction challenges by transforming product ideas into refined, user-friendly application designs.
• Lead the complete design lifecycle working closely with product managers and engineers; iterate concepts quickly through design exploration, ideation, and user testing.
• Conduct relevant user research activities including discovery interviews, usability tests, stakeholder meetings, post-launch analysis, and convert insights into actionable design improvements.
• Balance user requirements with business objectives to ensure practical and valuable solutions.
• Ensure design outcomes are consistent with the broader product and design organization goals.
• Communicate design proposals to stakeholders, advocate design decisions, and embrace feedback within the design process.
• Promote and develop design skills within the product teams by collaboration, storytelling, and championing digital design culture.

Minimum Qualifications

• Educational background related to digital product design or development.
• At least five years professional experience in designing software application solutions.
• Expertise in information architecture, interaction design, and visual aesthetics with an emphasis on simplicity.
• Proven ability to simplify complex business challenges into appealing and engaging user experiences.
• Self-motivated with strong communication skills, capable of prototyping interactions at various fidelity levels.
• Proficient in current digital design software, such as Sketch and Figma.
• Familiarity with software development workflows and frontend technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Experience mentoring or helping others improve their design skills is advantageous.
