Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior UX Designer who excels in identifying and solving authentic user challenges through comprehensive, end-to-end design processes. This position involves much more than aesthetic improvements; it requires deep engagement with research to craft intuitive, efficient experiences that address real user needs. The ideal candidate will design for a community of researchers and designers, leveraging our platform for continuous feedback and iterative enhancements, thereby influencing the way research is conducted.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user interviews, usability tests, and analyze data to identify and define problems.
• Create user-centered designs for both web and mobile interfaces.
• Develop user journey maps, sketch workflows, prototype concepts, and refine these into polished products.
• Work collaboratively with product and engineering teams to define and implement features.
• Deliver detailed, refined, and purposeful designs that ensure usability and quality.
• Advocate for user needs by integrating research insights into product strategy.
• Contribute to the refinement and scalability of the design system.
• Participate in the full lifecycle from design to release and ongoing iteration within a cross-functional squad.

Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a product designer, preferably within SaaS or technology sectors.
• A portfolio showcasing comprehensive case studies highlighting design thinking beyond final outcomes.
• Proven expertise in user research planning and facilitation, including usability testing.
• Strong skills in interaction design, systems thinking, and structuring information architecture.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship and polish.
• Added advantage for experience designing tools tailored to research or design professionals.
