Your Role
As a Senior Test Software Developer in the Test R&D Software Solution team within the Global Technology R&D division, you will drive the development of automation and robotics software solutions. This role involves managing software applications with a focus on international collaboration across factories, IT, product teams, quality, finance, suppliers, and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and analyze processes for automation using standardized technology components.
- Create prototypes and develop software solutions either in-house or in partnership with external suppliers.
- Perform technical and economic comparisons between various software solutions.
- Lead and coordinate software development projects, including assessing costs, benefits, risks, and challenges.
- Provide project updates and status reports to executive management.
Skills and Experience
- Master's degree in computer or electronic engineering, or computer science.
- Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Minimum of five years' experience in industrial automation, preferably within the semiconductor industry.
- Strong command of C# and C++ programming languages with solid object-oriented programming knowledge.
- Knowledge of Java and Python programming.
- Familiarity with Git and general version control systems.
- Experience working with databases, including SQL and SQLite.
- Understanding of XML and XSD formats.
