Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer who is meticulous and prioritizes quality. This position is part of our Platform team with an emphasis on Service Experience, working within an agile framework involving modern frontend, backend, and cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the effectiveness and measurability of testing outputs to optimize accuracy and efficiency
- Contribute to creating and updating the System Test strategy
- Collaborate closely with and provide guidance to a dynamic, cooperative team
- Conduct testing for both backend and frontend applications
- Maintain System Test Frameworks that are suitable, scalable, efficient, maintainable, and support our CI/CD pipeline
- Treat automation code as production-level, adhering to reusability and standardization guidelines
- Develop and execute performance testing setups simulating concurrent user loads
Candidate Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of black box and white box testing methodologies, plus test automation
- Demonstrable programming expertise, especially using C# and PowerShell scripting
- Track record of delivering complex automated testing solutions on schedule, within budget, and meeting quality standards
- Experience working in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) environments across diverse platforms
- Understanding of networking, performance testing, and secure software development practices
- Hands-on experience with various open source and commercial test automation tools such as SpecFlow, JMeter, Selenium, and Postman within modern front-end, back-end, and cloud settings
