Role Summary

The Senior Technical Recruiter is a dynamic connector within the IT industry, specializing in developing both active and passive candidate relationships. This role supports business development by identifying and recruiting highly skilled professionals across a spectrum of technology roles, including Help Desk, Application Development, Network Engineering, and executive-level positions such as CIO and CTO.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, interview, and assess candidates for client technical vacancies.
• Build and maintain lasting relationships within the IT community through events and user group participation.
• Understand and interpret technical job requirements thoroughly.
• Edit and tailor resumes to match client expectations accurately.
• Devise candidate qualification strategies utilizing diverse networks and tools.
• Negotiate payment terms with consultants according to role requirements.
• Conduct in-person and virtual candidate evaluations.
• Collaborate with sales teams to strategize consultant and candidate placement.
• Work alongside teammates to fulfill vacancies across various business sectors and national divisions.
• Promote market-relevant skills to internal sales personnel.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least three years of experience recruiting technology professionals.
• Active participation within IT community and professional networking groups.
• Proven success record within staffing or consulting environments.

Technical Abilities

• Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with Salesforce is advantageous.

Additional Information

• Must manage workload effectively under tight deadlines; highly organized and detail oriented.
• Up to 10% travel may be required to attend conferences or client meetings.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range for this position is between 60,000 and 70,000 CAD annually. Candidates may qualify for uncapped commissions and incentive programs based on performance.
