Senior Technical Communications Architect

Role Overview

Join the AHOY Playbooks team to shape the strategic communication frameworks that support the broader AHOY ecosystem. You will be responsible for developing compelling presentations and proposal materials that effectively serve pre-sales, sales, commercial, technical, product, and leadership teams by articulating the right narrative.

Primary Responsibilities

• Convert intricate technical information into accessible business language for executives, while translating business objectives into clear technical directives for developers.
• Design comprehensive architectural blueprints for complex enterprise systems, including cloud integrations and data networks.
• Support and refine evolving technical governance processes and maintain the knowledge library benefiting multiple internal teams such as pre-sales, R&D, and commercial operations.
• Lead and mentor the AHOY Playbooks team, building collaborative relationships across departments.
• Communicate with precision and brevity, mastering the art of knowledge transfer through impactful strategic decks and proposals.
• Serve as a strategic advisor linking business priorities with technical roadmaps, guiding stakeholders and senior leadership in technology planning.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years experience in technology and system development domains.
• Must be based in the UAE, able to attend in-person meetings at least twice weekly, supporting a hybrid work arrangement.
• Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written; additional proficiency in Arabic or French is beneficial but optional.
• Expertise in crafting concise technical narratives that secure proof-of-concept approvals efficiently, avoiding excessively lengthy presentations.
• Quick adaptability to new technological tools combined with strong public speaking and facilitation skills.
• Effective time management ensuring deliverables align with business demands.
• Proactive anticipation of information needs and bridging knowledge gaps across sales, technical, R&D, product, and commercial teams.
• Thorough understanding of tooling, data modeling, and enterprise application integration concepts; hands-on experience with integration tools and common design patterns.
