Senior Tech Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will spearhead key technical projects, lead engineering teams, and architect scalable and dependable software systems. This role requires close collaboration with developers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to convert business needs into robust technical solutions. The position offers a chance to take full technical ownership of projects, mentor peers, and influence architecture and development standards across the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to engineering teams during software design and development phases.
• Establish and uphold technical architecture and software development guidelines.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
• Liaise with product managers and stakeholders to fully grasp technical requirements.
• Transform complex requirements into executable technical tasks.
• Spot technical risks early and propose mitigation strategies.
• Support the professional growth of developers through mentoring.
• Engage in system design, architectural planning, and strategic technical decisions.
• Guarantee software applications are scalable, secure, maintainable, and resilient.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a similar domain.
• Minimum of 5 years of software development experience, including time in a technical leadership capacity.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices.
• Proficiency with modern programming languages and software frameworks.
• Strong expertise in REST API design, database management, version control tools, and continuous integration/continuous deployment methodologies.
• Proven ability to design and build scalable software applications.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage and inspire teams.
• Experience in mentoring and nurturing the growth of software engineers.
