Role Overview

The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner collaborates closely with business leaders to source, evaluate, and recruit talent aligned with company needs. This role owns the end-to-end recruitment process and partners with management to anticipate workforce needs and align hiring plans with strategic priorities. The ideal candidate has strong experience delivering quality hires and serves as a trusted advisor on market trends, best hiring practices, and recruitment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle—from sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, to negotiating offers while ensuring an excellent candidate journey.
  • Collaborate with business managers and HR Business Partners to understand team requirements, forecast talent gaps, and translate priorities into effective hiring plans.
  • Proactively develop and execute innovative sourcing methods to attract both active and passive candidates, building and maintaining a diverse talent pipeline for current and future needs.
  • Provide expert guidance to hiring managers on effective interview techniques, objective candidate evaluations, and market trends.
  • Utilize data analytics to monitor key recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire and candidate pipeline health, optimizing recruitment processes accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related discipline; professional HR designations (CHRP/CRIA, CPHR) are advantageous.
  • 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, ideally within complex, fast-paced technology environments.
  • Proven expertise managing end-to-end hiring processes from sourcing through final offer and onboarding phases while maintaining a superior candidate experience.
  • Strong skills in strategic talent sourcing leveraging networking, social media, and job platforms to build robust candidate pools.
  • Experienced in stakeholder management and advisory capacity, coaching hiring managers and leadership on recruitment best practices, interviewing, candidate assessment, and inclusive hiring approaches.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (such as Workday or TeamTailor) and recruitment analytics/reporting tools supporting data-driven decisions.

Distinctive Attributes

  • Highly autonomous work style, able to independently manage recruitment cycles and advise business leaders with minimal supervision.
  • Critical thinker skilled at evaluating all pertinent factors and applying objective criteria to resolve typical daily challenges logically.
  • Strong business acumen demonstrated through prudent application of legal knowledge and organizational policies for commercial decision-making, with timely escalation of high-risk issues.
  • Professional bilingual fluency in French and English, capable of translating complex materials, managing sensitive communications, and leading formal meetings and training sessions in both languages.

Why SSENSE?

  • Comprehensive extended health and dental benefits including broad mental health programs.
  • Parental leave top-up program.
  • Generous employee discounts on ssense.com products.
  • Access to telemedicine and employee and family assistance resources.
  • Employer matching contributions to savings and retirement plans.
  • Coverage for gender affirmation procedures.
  • Chance to work with cutting-edge technology alongside a forward-thinking and innovative team pushing technological boundaries.
