Senior T24 Test Engineer (Banking)

Professional Summary

Seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer with a solid background in software testing, specifically within banking or financial sectors, to lead and enhance testing initiatives for complex systems based on the T24 (Temenos) platform.

Responsibilities

• Direct the planning, estimation, and strategic approach to testing for intricate software systems.
• Develop, execute, and manage both manual and automated tests, including User Interface (UI), Application Programming Interface (API), and end-to-end (E2E) scenarios.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to junior QA engineers to uphold quality protocols and enhance processes.
• Conduct performance and load testing utilizing tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner, along with handling environments for service virtualization.
• Collaborate effectively with development teams, business stakeholders, and project coordinators to guarantee thorough testing coverage.
• Generate comprehensive defect documentation, detailed test metrics, and quality monitoring dashboards.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) stages by working closely with stakeholders to facilitate the final approval process.

Technical Requirements

• Proficiency in automation tools including Selenium and Appium for UI and API testing.
• Experience integrating automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, Git, or similar platforms.
• Deep knowledge of performance engineering principles and load testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical abilities for effective reporting and test result assessment.

Domain Expertise (Preferred)

• Core Banking systems, especially T24 (Temenos) platform.
• SAS Risk Management System (RMS) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) systems.
• Murex trading and risk management applications.
• Oracle Application Express (APEX) solutions.
• Card management solutions including credit, debit, and prepaid cards.
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

Qualifications and Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst, Agile methodologies, Selenium WebDriver, and JMeter are highly valued.
