Role Summary and Responsibilities

• Analyze test data to identify and address abnormalities encountered in manufacturing during final testing and circuit/wafer probing stages.
• Lead and manage qualification and approval processes for test hardware, tooling, products, test programs, and systems intended for mass production deployment.
• Initiate and drive projects aimed at enhancing test procedures and updating or releasing revised test programs.
• Conduct experimental evaluations and studies concerning test hardware, tooling, products, automated test equipment (ATE), and associated test programs.
• Ensure strict adherence to standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for test processes, documenting and updating these procedures when improvements are identified.
• Leverage deep knowledge of SiTime’s products, testing hardware, and test programs to support subcontracted assembly and test (OSAT) facilities.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams internally and at OSAT sites, including providing remote debugging support when necessary.
• Oversee continuous support for production lines, ensuring rapid resolution of testing abnormalities and efficient introduction of new products to the production environment.
• Assist in transitioning new product introductions (NPI) through mass production testing phases seamlessly.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required to support testing-related activities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience working with probers and automated test equipment (ATE) systems.
• Proven background in final test and/or wafer sort/circuit probing within production environments.
• Experience supporting manufacturing lines as a product or test engineer, particularly for final test and circuit probe/wafer sort.
• Practical knowledge of commercial testers such as ETS-88, ETS-364, LTX, Advantest, uFlex, or iFlex.
• Familiarity with programming languages including C++ and Python.
• Experience setting up and verifying test hardware components such as probe cards, load boards, and circuit interface boards.
• Strong understanding of test methodologies, workflows, and schematic diagrams.
• Proficient English communication skills.
• Preferred experience ranges from 5 to 15 years in relevant industry roles.
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), and Lean Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.
