About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Senior Support Worker to join our Blackpool team within Creative Support Services Ltd. This role involves working in a dynamic supported living environment providing services for individuals with complex needs, including learning disabilities, mental health issues, and autism. The position requires someone who can assist senior managers in delivering excellent care and support across our welcoming services.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management team to ensure the provision of high-quality services in supported living and related settings.
- Lead and manage teams effectively to promote an energetic and positive environment for those we support.
- Encourage meaningful experiences and the development of lasting relationships to help individuals feel connected and valued within their communities.
- Promote and support independent living skills to enhance confidence, emotional health, and social inclusion.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience working with people who have learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and autism.
- Previous leadership and team management experience within social care or related fields.
- Passion for supporting individuals to achieve their personal goals and maintain their wellbeing.
- Ability to think creatively in delivering support that meets complex needs and encourages community integration.
