Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and developing structural systems for various buildings and infrastructure projects.

Primary Responsibilities

• Engineer and formulate structural systems for building projects adhering strictly to local codes and industry standards.
• Work alongside project managers and cross-functional team members to develop innovative, cost-efficient client solutions.
• Evaluate and provide expert feedback on engineering designs ensuring they comply with quality and safety requirements.
• Lead and mentor junior structural engineers and BIM technicians to guarantee the success of projects.
• Implement and uphold quality assurance and control processes throughout project lifecycle.
• Utilize expertise in reinforced concrete and structural steelwork to design buildings and civil/infrastructure structures effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; master’s degree is a plus.
• At least 8 years of practical experience specialized in structural engineering focusing on building design.
• Professional engineering registration or equivalent credential highly preferred.
• Experience designing water-retaining structures, building frameworks, steelwork, or related infrastructure.
• Proven ability working within multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with MEP, architectural, and utility professionals.
• Expertise in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, and STAAD.Pro alongside proficiency in CAD tools.
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities, including team motivation, budget oversight, scheduling, and ensuring project objectives are met.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
• Record of delivering projects prioritizing safety, quality, and innovation.
• Fluency in English mandatory; knowledge of Arabic is beneficial.
• Experience working in a 3D design setting and familiarity with BIM protocols is desirable.
• Understanding of operational standards in retail, commercial, or industrial sectors would be advantageous.
