Senior Store Concept Designer

About the Role

We are on a mission to rethink how people live in their homes and seek a Senior Store Concept Designer to join our team, crafting the future of living with purposeful attention to detail. You will be responsible for creating and delivering captivating retail store concepts and global showroom designs that transition smoothly from initial ideas to construction, aligned with our brand's quality standards and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative retail store and showroom designs for various international markets, managing projects from concept creation through schematic design and early stages of construction documentation.
• Create detailed, high-quality 3D models, visual renderings, and presentation assets that effectively express the design intent.
• Prepare comprehensive, build-ready documentation including architectural drawings, joinery details, construction specifics, and material specifications to ensure successful project execution.
• Collaborate closely with diverse teams such as Project Managers, consultants, suppliers, and local Architects of Record to steer projects from design phase through to construction completion.
• Offer on-site support during construction by conducting site visits, examining shop drawings, addressing requests for information, and solving technical challenges that emerge during project delivery.

Candidate Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field with 4 to 6 years of experience in architectural practice, design consultancy, or an in-house design setting.
• Demonstrable experience managing projects from conceptual design to construction administration, preferably in retail, commercial, showroom, or branded spaces.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and either Rhino or SketchUp, with a functional knowledge of Revit and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
• Advanced capabilities in Adobe Creative Suite and rendering software such as Enscape, V-Ray, or Twinmotion.
• A refined design sense combined with practical expertise in architectural detailing, construction techniques, materials selection, and build feasibility.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively coordinate with project stakeholders, including project managers, consultants, and suppliers.
• Self-motivated, detail-conscious collaborator who owns their work, excels in a dynamic environment, and is open to adopting new technologies, including AI tools, to enhance design processes.
