Senior Specialist - Geotechnical Engineering

Role Overview

This position involves delivering geotechnical engineering solutions that prioritize safety, sustainability, cost-effectiveness, and innovation while aligning with the group’s governance and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, sustainable, and innovative geotechnical solutions that are cost-effective and aligned with commercial and strategic goals.
• Analyze geotechnical data and prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Develop technical requirements, including specifications, standards, and design guidelines related to ports and maritime engineering projects.
• Create preliminary preconceptual engineering designs for prospective projects.
• Foster collaborative relationships among project teams, supply chain partners, and stakeholders to support organizational success.
• Monitor emerging trends in geotechnical engineering and recommend updates to specifications, standards, and methodologies.
• Lead initiatives to develop and continuously enhance departmental standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a closely related discipline; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
• Approximately 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in a similar geotechnical engineering capacity.
