Senior Solutions Architect

Role Overview

As a Senior Solutions Architect at SoftServe based in Dubai, you will be responsible for shaping comprehensive enterprise technology solutions from initial assessment to final delivery. This role involves collaboration with various architects and technical leaders to make architectural decisions across projects, influence standards, and build scalable and robust solutions that offer significant business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, turning them into scalable technology strategies and solution designs that align with customer needs and minimize delivery risks.
• Create and maintain end-to-end solution architectures addressing infrastructure, security, integration, and scalability, ensuring conformity with organizational standards and client expectations.
• Lead architectural efforts including discovery and assessments, coordinating with projects to deliver clear directions and maintain stakeholder alignment.
• Supervise solution implementations, guiding technical teams to ensure alignment with the original designs, technical standards, and business objectives throughout project lifecycles.
• Establish and uphold engineering and architectural best practices, policies, and procedures across projects to ensure consistency, maintainability, and quality.
• Conduct risk assessments at all solution stages to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies enhancing robustness and reducing risks.
• Mentor architects and technical teams, sharing knowledge and promoting skills development to advance technical excellence.
• Provide leadership in large-scale architectural transformations, aligning enterprise technology strategies with project execution for sustainable and scalable changes.
• Collaborate with project leadership to manage secure customer data processes covering acquisition, exchange, storage, retention, and deletion throughout project lifecycles adhering to contractual and company policies.
• Follow project closure and off-boarding procedures to ensure secure handling of customer data in line with relevant policies.
• Adhere to company privacy and data protection policies in all architectural activities to safeguard customer data and comply with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• Certified SEI Software Architecture Professional and TOGAF Standard qualifications.
• Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform supported by AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional), Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) certifications.
• Expert knowledge of modern software and system architecture best practices for complex, large-scale enterprise environments.
• Deep understanding of solution architecture methodologies, frameworks, and patterns across diverse technical and business domains.
• Strong expertise in cloud computing, data storage technologies, security protocols, and modern application development frameworks.
• Extensive experience in technology evaluation and selection balancing scalability, security, performance, maintainability, and cost-efficiency.
• Skilled in architectural design, modeling, and documentation of complex distributed systems.
• Experienced in leading architectural decision-making processes and documenting system components per industry standards.
• Proven leadership experience managing interdisciplinary teams and engaging senior stakeholders to deliver architectural visions.
• Competent mentor and coach to architects and technical leaders fostering architectural excellence and professional growth.
• Committed to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging technology trends and best practices.
• Effective communication skills capable of conveying complex architecture concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills for thriving in cross-functional teamwork and consensus-building.
• Analytical mindset with strategic thinking focused on holistic system analysis, risk identification, and roadmap definition.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities showing ownership and influence beyond formal authority.
• Optional but beneficial: foundational Java certifications (SCJP, SCJD, SCWCD, SCBCD, SCDJWS).
• Optional Microsoft certifications (MCP, MCTS, MCPD) are advantageous.
• Optional experience with IBM SOA certifications and service-oriented architecture practices.
