Senior Solution Architect - Banking Technology

Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned technology architect specialized in cloud-native designs, microservices, and security frameworks to join a leading Group IT team. The role focuses on shaping enterprise-level architecture and developing robust, scalable digital banking platforms used by millions.

Role Expectations

• Lead the architecture and delivery of mobile, web, and cloud-native applications from end to end.
• Establish and maintain standards, guidelines, and reusable architecture reference models.
• Collaborate closely with cybersecurity teams to integrate security into every layer of system design.
• Oversee architecture reviews ensuring adherence to performance, resilience, and user experience.
• Integrate applications using microservices, event streaming, containers, and external system interfaces.
• Facilitate peer reviews, lead technical workshops, and mentor junior architects.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.

Technical Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience designing web and mobile applications, microservices, and APIs.
• In-depth understanding of modern architecture styles such as Microservices, APIs, and Event-Driven designs.
• Proficient hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, containerization, and service mesh technologies.
• Strong cybersecurity expertise including OWASP standards, encryption techniques, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and application security.
• Experienced with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Familiarity with architecture and data modeling tools like Sparx EA and ER/Studio.
