They seek a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to serve as a Squad Tech Lead, guiding the technical vision of a delivery team while maintaining active involvement in coding, architecture, mentoring, and innovation.
Role Overview
This position emphasizes technical leadership rather than traditional people management. You will act as the chief architect, coach, and quality overseer for a talented group of 4 to 6 engineers. Collaborating closely with the Product Owner, you'll ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and purpose-fit, while promoting AI-augmented development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Directing the architecture and technical design for squad deliverables.
- Actively developing, building, and releasing production-grade software alongside the team.
- Leading AI-assisted development initiatives and managing usage of AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Cursor.
- Ensuring all results comply with quality, security, testing, and operational protocols.
- Mentoring and supporting skill growth for junior and intermediate developers.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 8 years of experience in delivering software solutions in live production environments.
- Strong expertise in software architecture and technical design.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Cloudflare.
- A security-first approach focused on building robust and scalable systems.
- Familiarity with AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot and similar technologies.
