Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Software Engineer (SDE-3) specializing in DevOps to enhance our cloud infrastructure and implement Service Mesh technologies. The role involves addressing operational challenges, driving large-scale automation, and collaborating closely with development teams to build secure and scalable systems. Proficiency in cloud environments, container technologies, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and incident management is vital to maintain high system availability and support our growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

• Automate and govern scalable, dependable infrastructure using AWS, GCP, Service Mesh platforms like Istio, Linkerd, Kong, along with Ansible, Bash, Python, and Linux.
• Enhance system performance by troubleshooting problems, working with development teams to optimize infrastructure consumption, lower costs, and maintain system stability.
• Design and execute robust Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines utilizing Jenkins for streamlined, reliable deployments.
• Lead incident response activities, formulate action plans, and continuously refine operational workflows to accommodate the ongoing expansion of Pluang.
• Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code methods through Terraform to efficiently provision and oversee cloud resources.

Candidate Profile

• Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Service Mesh technologies such as Istio, Linkerd, and Kong.
• Proficient in container orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins, to support development pipelines.
• Skilled in monitoring and logging solutions such as ELK Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana, ensuring comprehensive observability of essential APIs and services.
• Strong background in Terraform for infrastructure automation and Python scripting for process automation and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases focused on performance and reliability.
• Experience designing systems that are scalable, cost-effective, and secure with seamless service integrations.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and API management principles.
• Previous exposure to the fintech industry is advantageous.
