Your Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design and make pivotal technology decisions supporting the creation and delivery of next-generation software products across multiple industries.
- Manage project workstreams and guide client teams in adopting engineering excellence, user-focused design, Agile principles, and best practices.
- Collaborate directly with clients and their leadership teams to co-develop innovative technical solutions and grow as an acknowledged technology leader.
- Contribute actively within the McKinsey Digital team in Riyadh—an interdisciplinary collective of software engineers, designers, Agile coaches, and strategists dedicated to digital transformation.
- Utilize a broad technology stack including but not limited to JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue, Python, Java, C#, Node.js, SQL, MongoDB, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Participate in an office culture that encourages creativity, experimentation, continuous learning, and intensive mentoring.
- Travel occasionally as client engagement requires.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent professional experience in relevant fields.
- More than 7 years of software development experience, with strong preference for full-stack web application expertise.
- Solid hands-on experience with the full software stack, including multiple programming languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue, Java, Spring, C#, .NET, Node.js, SQL variations, MongoDB, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proven leadership within Agile environments, adept at coaching Agile mindsets, facilitating sprint ceremonies, and advancing developer capabilities.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, promoting engineering best practices including design patterns, customer-centricity, test-driven development, code refactoring, code review, and security principles like OWASP Top 10.
