Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer based in Hyderabad to contribute to the design, creation, and delivery of superior enterprise level software using Java technologies. The position involves working from the office and includes alternate Saturday duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and implement software solutions using Java, J2EE, and databases such as SQL and Oracle.
- Engage actively in design discussions, code development, code review sessions, unit and system testing phases, and User Acceptance Testing.
- Maintain software modules consistent with coding standards and quality benchmarks.
- Analyze logs, troubleshoot issues, and optimize database queries for performance improvements.
- Generate technical documentation such as design specs, test cases, deployment instructions, and release notes.
- Collaborate seamlessly with diverse teams to ensure delivery of projects within deadlines and to quality standards.
- Provide support for client demonstrations, proofs of concept, deployments, and resolving production-related problems.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Core Java, J2EE, JSP, and Servlets.
- Proficiency in SQL and Oracle database management.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles, design patterns, SDLC processes, and web application development.
- Capability in troubleshooting software problems and enhancing performance.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem resolution aptitude.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology or MCA.
- Professional Experience: Between 2 to 4 years in relevant software development (excluding internships).
- Academic Requirement: Minimum 60% marks throughout academic career.
- Mandatory: Robust Java development experience.
