About the Role
Cinergie Digital is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer based in Dubai, UAE, to develop full-stack solutions using Java and React technologies. The position involves building and maintaining cloud-native applications deployed on AWS, covering user interfaces, secure APIs, event-driven integration, deployment procedures, and ongoing production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain Spring Boot microservices encompassing RESTful APIs, business logic, data handling, and security layers.
- Create dynamic and responsive front-end interfaces using React.js and TypeScript, emphasizing reusable components and state management through Redux or Context API.
- Manage application deployment and operation on AWS cloud platforms including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and IAM, utilizing Docker containers and automated CI/CD workflows.
- Implement event-driven architectures with message brokers such as Apache Kafka and AWS SNS/SQS.
- Produce clean, testable production-grade code supported by unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, and relevant frontend testing frameworks.
- Identify and resolve issues in production environments, guaranteeing optimal reliability, performance, and compatibility across multiple browsers.
- Participate actively in Agile development processes including ceremonies and peer code reviews; employ AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot while adhering to security policies.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Strong command of core Java concepts including object-oriented programming, multithreading, concurrency, collections, and JVM internals.
- Proficiency with the Spring ecosystem: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and the design of secure microservices and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, SNS, and SQS, alongside Docker containerization.
- Expertise in React.js including Hooks, Redux, Context API, and modern JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 for frontend development.
- Advanced SQL data modeling and performance tuning on relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Familiarity with Git version control, CI/CD pipeline automation, and JWT for authentication and authorization mechanisms.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should have 5 to 8 years of comprehensive full-stack software development experience, with a strong focus on Java/Spring Boot backend systems. Proven track record of delivering production-grade solutions on AWS environments, not just development or testing sandboxes. Candidates are expected to take full ownership of features throughout their lifecycle including UI development, API design, data integration, and deployment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly salary ranging from AED 10,000 to AED 13,000.
