Position Overview
As a Senior Java Developer, you will engage in challenging projects primarily in the finance and banking sectors. You will collaborate within agile, cross-functional teams to aid clients in creating and enhancing customized software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop IT concepts and oversee the entire lifecycle from planning to deployment of requirements.
- Create solutions leveraging cutting-edge Java technologies.
- Produce high-quality code adhering to modern paradigms such as Clean Code standards.
- Employ testing frameworks to ensure superior quality of final products.
Qualifications
- Completed education or degree in IT or related field with several years of experience as a Java Developer.
- Expertise in Java SE, Java EE, and SpringBoot, along with knowledge of Microservices architecture, SOA, Continuous Delivery, and Continuous Integration using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
- Familiarity with tools and frameworks including Maven/Gradle, Git, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Experience using testing frameworks like JUnit and MockMVC.
- Practical usage of AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Codex) with comprehension of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, focusing on assuring output quality.
- Cloud certifications and experience are advantageous.
- Fluency in German and proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
