The Partner Apps Platform team supports internal and external groups by facilitating the creation, onboarding, operation, and scaling of web applications across the Grab ecosystem. This team is responsible for developer tools, self-service capabilities, the developer portal, backend platform, and ensuring platform reliability.

Role Overview

In your role as a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will develop and enhance platform features to simplify processes such as app onboarding, configuration, review, release, and operation. Your work will span the developer portal, webview JavaScript bridge, and backend services. You will provide technical leadership, simplify complex workflows into reliable self-service experiences, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable portal interfaces, backend services, and APIs for the Partner Apps Platform.
• Lead the creation of self-service tools that minimize manual intervention and enhance developer experience.
• Automate workflows related to app onboarding, configuration, review, and release.
• Improve platform reliability and observability through telemetry, dashboards, alerts, and operational tools.
• Ensure system security, perform testing, optimize performance, and develop maintainable designs.
• Guide technical discussions, conduct code reviews, manage incident responses, and spearhead platform enhancements.
• Provide mentorship to engineers and foster advancement of engineering best practices within the team.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, mobile, backend, and infrastructure teams to align priorities and deliver platform solutions.

Required Qualifications

• At least four years of full-stack engineering experience, primarily with TypeScript and React, plus proficiency in a backend language.
• Experience designing, building, and managing scalable APIs, distributed services, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with observability, troubleshooting in production, and reliability engineering techniques.
• Track record of designing secure, well-tested, and maintainable full-stack systems.
• Demonstrated ability to make architectural decisions, review complex code changes, and mentor peers.
• Experience with developer platforms, internal tools, self-service workflows, or onboarding systems is a plus.
