Team Overview

You will be part of the Product Experience team, responsible for the interfaces customers interact with on every login, especially a newly developed customizable homepage. This homepage is powered by a unified widget system usable across multiple product domains such as inspections, actions, and analytics, replacing isolated custom solutions. This critical, high-visibility product surface is experienced by hundreds of thousands of users regularly.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to interpret requirements, develop, test, and deploy customer-facing frontend features.
• Develop and enhance the widget-based homepage framework, ensuring components are modular and reusable across various product areas rather than isolated implementations.
• Work alongside Quality Assurance and the product design team to deliver reliable, performant, and user-centered features.
• Maintain a strong focus on performance optimization, considering user experience on initial login by balancing speed and functionality.
• Contribute to team technical decision-making, leveraging support from platform engineering specialists on more complex architectural topics.
• Engage actively in code reviews, adopt best testing practices, and participate in agile development ceremonies including planning, estimation, and retrospectives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Extensive hands-on experience with React and TypeScript or other strongly typed languages, with proven delivery of frontend features from conception through release.
• Ability to quickly assimilate new projects and independently take ownership of feature development without extensive supervision.
• A performance-oriented mindset with consideration of real-world component behavior under load conditions.
• Strong collaborative skills for partnering with product and design teams, receptive to feedback with a willingness to iterate rapidly.
• Knowledge of modern frontend testing methodologies and a practical approach to maintain code quality.
• No expectation to have deep expertise in backend, platform infrastructure, or design systems, as these are handled by specialized team members.

This position is focused purely on frontend engineering and does not require managing backend services or mobile (React Native) app development.
