Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer focused on backend development to join our Chorus Platform team. Chorus.ai is a Conversation Intelligence platform that analyzes extensive sales call data to provide actionable insights, helping sales teams optimize performance and close deals effectively. As a member of the Platform team, you will tackle complex projects that empower various user roles with core platform capabilities, managing customer-facing product responsibilities and architecting solutions capable of handling millions of daily requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop and deploy sophisticated distributed systems.
- Integrate third-party conference providers via SDKs to enhance platform capabilities.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience using Python.
- Strong expertise in designing distributed system software architectures.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles.
- Hands-on experience developing distributed microservices.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Practical knowledge of package management and CI/CD release cycles following industry standards.
- Experience working with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Elasticsearch as well as SQL databases.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, proficient in English.
