Senior Software Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer proficient in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture, with solid experience in Google Cloud Platform and advanced AI integrations. This role involves designing and engineering scalable backend systems emphasizing security, consistency, and performance, especially in environments leveraging event-driven architectures.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems using Java and Spring Boot inspired microservices designs.
• Create and ensure secure, consistent, and well-governed RESTful APIs and SOAP/Web Services.
• Engage with products utilizing Pub/Sub, Kafka, or similar event streaming platforms.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of five years' experience in backend system development.
• Advanced skills in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and microservices design principles.
• Demonstrated success in breaking down or modernizing monolithic application architectures.
• Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform services, cloud-native design patterns, and distributed system architectures.
• Strong command over RESTful APIs, web services, and enforcing microservice governance standards.
• In-depth understanding of event-driven systems, including Pub/Sub, Kafka, and asynchronous design practices.
• Practical experience using Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and infrastructure automation techniques.
• Expertise in system design, performance tuning, and advanced debugging methodologies.
• Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and OpenTelemetry.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to lead and influence technical teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the airline pricing domain is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Agentic AI technologies, including building or integrating solutions based on Large Language Model (LLM) agents.
