Role Overview

We seek a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Sydney office. This role involves close collaboration with product, design, and engineering colleagues to craft software solutions that delight customers. You will engage in designing scalable backend systems and intuitive front-end experiences, helping to convert ideas into impactful products while guiding technical strategy and promoting best engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance software that offers tangible value to customers.
• Design and maintain secure and efficient APIs facilitating communication between front-end, back-end, and external services.
• Contribute to advancing AI integration in development workflows and product features.
• Continuously improve software development processes to boost efficiency and quality across front-end, back-end, and data engineering efforts.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrable full stack experience with a strong proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies. Familiarity with TypeScript, Node.js, React, AWS, and MongoDB is beneficial but openness to learning new technologies is valued more.
• Proven ownership mentality, capable of independently driving features from concept through launch, managing progress transparently, and seeking assistance when necessary.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to effectively engage cross-functionally and provide constructive feedback.
• A builder’s mindset with a history of delivering meaningful product features or applications and a focus on customer satisfaction beyond mere coding.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced, and occasionally ambiguous environments while independently navigating challenges.
• A strong appetite for rapid learning and adapting to new languages, frameworks, and tools.
