Mission and Role Overview
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Noloco’s platform by working across frontend and backend technologies. Your contributions will be central to refining the AI-powered Co-Builder, APIs, workflow engines, data models, and user interfaces, aiming to deliver high performance, reliability, and exceptional user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end features spanning backend services, GraphQL APIs, and React-based user interfaces.
- Enhance capabilities of the AI Co-Builder, integrating advancements from leading AI models.
- Design and refine reusable React components and design systems for the Noloco app builder.
- Scale backend and API systems to accommodate increasing customer demand.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to create polished, intuitive user experiences.
- Improve system analytics, observability, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms.
- Lead technical discussions and mentor engineering team members to uphold quality standards.
Detailed Contributions
- Add new UI components and upgrade existing ones for the Noloco App Builder.
- Expand AI Co-Builder tools and logic to facilitate interactive user engagement through chat or MCP.
- Enhance native data tables with advanced field types, user experience optimizations, and performance improvements.
- Develop integrations with external data sources and APIs to broaden workflow capabilities.
- Extend workflow and automation features to enable customer tool connection and automation.
- Optimize full-stack performance including query efficiency and frontend rendering.
- Oversee end-user experience improvements from initial interaction to API responses.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a full stack engineer working on complex web applications.
- Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript, with hands-on experience in Node.js and React.js.
- Skilled in designing scalable and clean APIs; experience with GraphQL is an advantage.
- Experience in building and enhancing AI-powered agents, workflows, and user interfaces.
- Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization, state management, and design systems.
- Possesses a product-oriented mindset focusing on user experience rather than just code delivery.
- Comfortable with autonomous work and contributing to shaping product problems beyond specifications.
- Prior experience in startup environments or companies with high engineering standards is preferred.

- Frontend: React.js, Tailwind CSS, ShadCN UI components
- AI Models: OpenAI and Anthropic model integrations
- APIs: Internal Node-based GraphQL and REST APIs, dynamic GraphQL interfaces
- Infrastructure: AWS ECS, AWS Lambda functions with monitoring via Grafana and Sentry

Location and Team Setup
Positions are open for remote or hybrid work based in Dublin, Ireland, with the engineering team distributed across Ireland and Spain. Regular in-person meetings and at least one annual offsite gathering are part of the team culture. Hiring is ongoing for locations in Barcelona and Ireland.
