Role Overview

As a Senior Security Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, enhancing, and embedding security measures throughout the technology environment at The Lottery Corporation (TLC). This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders and project teams to develop secure solutions, bolster enterprise security frameworks, deliver trusted risk-based recommendations, and influence security initiatives across critical projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously maintain and enhance security engineering solutions during their lifecycle ensuring effectiveness, alignment with business needs, and ongoing support.
• Contribute actively to TLC's multi-year security enhancement program by advancing security capabilities, strengthening controls, and supporting secure implementations across major technology platforms and projects.
• Design and critically review secure, end-to-end technical solutions within cloud and application sectors, implementing secure-by-design concepts in accordance with industry regulations.
• Create and improve enterprise security standards, architectural patterns, and hardening guidance to foster consistent controls and elevate security maturity within the technology infrastructure.
• Engage with business stakeholders, architects, engineers, and delivery teams to define security requirements, offer risk-informed advice, and steer feasible security outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience in security engineering, architecture, and risk-oriented solution design within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise across multiple security domains including cloud security, application security, identity and access management, vulnerability management, data protection, and security monitoring and detection.
• Specialist proficiency preferred in Cloud Security and/or Application Security.
• In-depth understanding of secure-by-design principles, threat modeling, control assurance, and security architectural strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence technical and business groups and articulate security requirements effectively.
