Job description
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Security Advisor to deliver expert security counsel, support, and assurance across all Lockheed Martin New Zealand operations. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams, the New Zealand Defence Force, and Lockheed Martin’s Australia and New Zealand Security functions to uphold a secure and resilient operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the leading security contact for Lockheed Martin New Zealand, facilitating the implementation and upkeep of all security standards.
- Offer security guidance and assistance to the New Zealand Defence Force.
- Provide dedicated support for Communications Security (COMSEC) obligations.
- Assist in Information Security and Cyber Security initiatives.
- Manage physical security and facility-related needs, covering access control, security systems, secure zones, and facility upkeep.
- Support Defence and company security mandates, including policy enforcement and assurance processes.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience within Defence or the Defence Industry sectors.
- Familiarity with Defence Industry Security Programme (DISP) procedures.
- Understanding of the New Zealand Information Security Manual (NZISM).
- Capability to secure and maintain a New Zealand Top Secret security clearance.
