Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to create and sustain comprehensive automation frameworks for web and API testing from scratch. The role involves developing the automation strategy for squad-level quality assurance efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable and reliable automation frameworks for both web and API testing layers.
• Define and implement the automation approach to guarantee extensive test coverage and smooth release cycles within development teams.
• Develop and execute API test suites to validate backend microservices thoroughly.
• Create and manage frontend automation tests to uphold superior user experience standards.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineers, promoting a culture prioritizing quality.

Mandatory Qualifications

• At least four years of experience as an SDET.
• Proficiency in Java programming with a developer-oriented mindset towards quality assurance.
• Extensive hands-on experience in API automation utilizing REST Assured.
• Practical expertise in frontend test automation frameworks, particularly Playwright.
• Strong understanding of the shift-left testing philosophy and experience integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work autonomously and steer technical quality initiatives.
• Upper-intermediate proficiency in English.

Desirable Skills

• Domain knowledge in Loyalty programs or the Fintech industry.
• Experience with performance or load testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and SQL for validating data in test scripts.
• Experience in using mocking frameworks to support testing.
