Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Risk Management Specialist to join a dynamic, fast-growing financial services company based in Dubai. This role involves more than traditional risk reporting; it aims to challenge current risk models, uncover emerging risks, and develop advanced, automated risk management strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the enterprise risk framework and define the organization's risk appetite.
- Manage risks associated with market, credit, liquidity, and counterparty exposures.
- Address operational, technological, third-party, and conduct risks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements spanning various jurisdictions.
- Conduct stress testing, key risk indicators (KRIs) analysis, control testing, and remediation activities.
- Identify predictive and emerging risks using advanced methodologies.
- Develop and maintain AI-powered risk models, risk monitoring systems, and risk analytics tools.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 5 to 8 years of risk management experience within financial services, trading, or regulated brokerage environments.
- Have significant familiarity with Contracts for Difference (CFDs), trading platforms, and financial regulations.
- Demonstrate expertise in designing, developing, and deploying automated monitoring systems, predictive modeling, or analytics solutions related to risk.
- Exhibit a proactive approach, focusing on building innovative risk management tools rather than solely consuming reports.
