Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Rigger to contribute to the renowned Rainbow Six series. The successful candidate will be instrumental in architecting rigging systems that aid in producing diverse and polished assets. This position demands a strong technical background with character aesthetics to bring immersive and true-to-life worlds to the game.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and maintain rigging systems supporting asset creation across gameplay characters, focusing on skinning, physics, and modelling.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure consistent visual styling throughout game features.
  • Convert conceptual mock-ups into high-fidelity integrated visuals that drive production processes and inspire the art team.
  • Mentor Animation and Art teams, fostering skill growth and creative collaboration.
  • Consistently pursue improvements through research, peer review, and constructive feedback.
  • Communicate the Director’s creative vision by crafting realistic character movements aligned with narrative and design goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated portfolio or showreel highlighting character rigging expertise, including deformation and scene structure proficiency.
  • Proficient in industry-standard 3D software such as Autodesk 3DS Max or Maya.
  • Experience in 3D modelling relevant to rigging tasks.
  • Strong ability to guide and mentor artists and animators.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Preferably experience across full development lifecycles of AAA game projects.
