Senior RF Simulation Software Engineer

About the Role

Keysight Technologies' Design Engineering Software (DES) division leads advancements in Electronic Design Automation (EDA). As a Senior RF Simulation Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development of electric system-level modeling software within our flagship simulation platform, SystemVue. This position offers collaboration with an international agile software development team using modern engineering practices to address customer needs worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve RF simulation and modeling applications catering to next-generation wireless, aerospace, and defense technologies.
• Design, implement, and enhance features in RF system simulation software focusing on accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Engage with customers and cross-disciplinary engineering teams to comprehend complex RF design challenges and deliver tailored simulation solutions.
• Maintain and enhance the RF simulation platform by refining solver precision, troubleshooting modeling problems, and ensuring high software reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering, Electromagnetics, or related disciplines.
• Robust expertise in RF simulation, electromagnetic modeling, microwave circuits, antennas, wireless communications, or EDA software development preferred.
• Proficiency in software engineering using C/C++, Python, or C#; experience with numerical algorithms or scientific simulation applications is advantageous.
• Practical experience applying AI/ML techniques to RF modeling, EM simulation, optimization, or data-driven engineering is highly valued.
• Self-driven, meticulous, enthusiastic about learning, and motivated to establish a long-term career in RF simulation and EDA software development.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills enabling effective collaboration with global R&D teams and client engagement.
